Kimberly-Clark Achieves Zero Waste to Landfill Status in Latin America

Hygiene manufacturer has 13 sites in the region

All of Kimberly-Clark‘s 13 of our manufacturing facilities in Latin America recently achieved 100% zero waste to landfill status. The company credits this achievement to an an in-depth internal waste audit as well as work with partners to find recycling solutions. This allowed the Kimberly-Clark Latin America team to identify ways to alter the waste to provide social-environmental and economic value.

This achievement is a great step toward the company’s global goal to reduce its environmental footprint by 50% by 2030, and K-C is proud of the commitment from its teams around the world as they continue to find ways to minimize our impact on the planet.
